Fall Rendezvous
WWBA FALL RENDEZVOUS The WWBA will once again return to Ganges for our 2010 Fall Rendezvous to enjoy the fabulous hospitality offered by this Saltspring Island community. For those of you who were at the Fall Rendezvous last year, you know the community welcome that awaits you at Ganges. Anyone new to Ganges will be amazed by the shops, the Saturday Market, the art galleries, book stores and restaurants.
Martin has advised us that the Saltspring Island Harbour Authority is offering moorage to WWBA Members at the same price as last year: for Friday September 24th and Saturday September 25th; power, if used, will be extra.
On Saturday afternoon, we welcome our members and the public to view our vessels. As always, Saturday evening, we’ll bring our favorite dish to share and enjoy our famous WWBA Potluck Supper.

Once again we are planning to have a “SWAP MEET” at the Fall Rendezvous at Ganges in September.
I know that many of you will be busy boating, but if you have a few moments before the rendezvous to sort through your ‘spares box’ or wherever you may find items that you no longer need or ‘have room for’ bring the, to the rendezvous. These can be put on a list and offered for sale or trade. They may be just the thing that another member is looking for or wants. The ‘list’ of items (with your vessel name for reference) can be posted on a bulletin board by the registration boat “Raincoast Spirit” at the rendezvous. Many treasures have already found new homes but I’m sure that there are more ‘orphan’ boat parts and miscellaneous items that could find new homes if they are offered for ‘adoption’ at the swap meet.
